Beyond the Book | When the Light of theWorld was Subdued, Our Songs Came Through: A Norton Anthology of Native Nations Poetry with Amois Williams, Provost & CEO
Selected as one of Oprah Winfrey's "Books That Help Me Through,” Joy Harjo gathers the work of more than 160 poets, representing nearly 100 indigenous nations. Each section begins with a poem from traditional oral literature and closes with emerging poets.
As we celebrate Native American Heritage month in November, this serves as an opportunity to educate yourself on the stories, art and experiences of the Indigenous people of North America.
Join Amois Williams, CTEDU Provost & CEO, for conversations on the first historically comprehensive Native poetry anthology.
Meeting is over, you can not register now. If you have any questions, please contact Meeting host: Amois W (she, her).
